The Road to the Police Academy - Is Lifting Heavy Weights Worth it?

Want to become real confused while searching the internet on the topic of whether or not you should lift heavy weights or light weights?  Article after article point to the benefits of training techniques with weights or strength training.  We are not here to sway you one way or the other in reference to training techniques with strength training in a gym or at home.  We are, however, here to provide the ideal training routine for candidates who are looking to enter the Police Academy.  The Police Academy is a place for endurance and strength is important, but endurance rules the training regimen.  Being big and bulky is a disadvantage for police candidates. Candidates should train to become fit, extreme fit is a better word.  The best word would be Police Fit.  So how do you become Police Fit?

We recommend training 5-6 days per week and completing body weight exercises and running/walking.  We do believe that this type of training is most effective to withstand the daily rigors of the Police Academy and life as a police officer after the academy. Most officers abandon their police academy physical training after the academy.  Looking for challenging workouts?  Look no further than Police Fit 4 Life.  Simple, Effective Training to get you into the best shape of your life.
